(sry real short!)
Kanni's head tossed back and forth, throbbing...acheing...thundering! She could see visions of that new girl...her deathly blue eyes locked on her as Kanni cringed to the floor, remembering what had happened earleir that afternoon. She was now taking a nap, trying to clear her head; but so far it was only getting worse. "I say Salarsh!" the panel's arguement about her rung back through her mind, the memories flashing through her head.
Something bad was about to happen. She was ever so deathly sure of it. Something they would all regret....

Someone had been trying to shake Alice awake in the past few minutes of her peaceful when hissing and screams filled her mind from the farthest corner, arguing over something. The shape shifter finally awoke to find Gabriel luring above her, his hand keep her mouth closed while he pressed a finger against his own two lips to signal the shape shifter to keep quiet. There was something tearing through the room, invisible, throwing cabinets to the ground and throwing clothes around the room. It was looking for something dearly and wasn't paying any attention to the awoken Gabriel and Alice who watched this invisible person tear through the room. The mirror was then pushed to the ground, sending several thousands of glass shards scattered on the rug. It then stopped, as if it had just seen Alice and Gabriel watch it from the bed with curious expressions. Nothing had stirred in the room after several minutes, but a sudden force clenching around Alice's neck broke the silence.
The shape shifter had been pinned against the wall, feeling human nails dig into the skin of her neck while the air for Alice began to run out. Her feet tried to kick anything infront of her that might be there, but it was no use for she had felt nothing. Gabriel had been trying to claw at anything, finding it difficult to peel Alice off of the wall and throw themselves onto the ground where Alice found air once more. Soft tapping was then made in the room from whatever was invisible. Gabriel had then shifted into the white wolf spotted with black, awaiting for the complete shifting of his god child which was interrupted by a painting that lunged at her, pressing her once more against the wall. Whatever it was it wanted Alice dead no matter how it was done. The wolf had tore at the canvas of the painting, giving enough time for his god child to properly shift into the choosen animal.
But that was were it all began to change dramaticly. It had happened a few nights ago, large green wings such as dragonflies' protruding from her back while green and purple strands of hair sank into Alice's naturual dark red hair. Her skin was peeling, revealing a green tint of skin under the peeling skin. Voices were screaming to her, several objects being picked up in the room then dropped, Alice turning into a ghost then to normal, and then several objects being lit on fire or frozen. The invisible someone now seemed pleased, not attacking while watching the raging power change in Alice. The powers kept changing causing chaos in the room while she heard voices that never were there before. The animagus had then launched himself at a blur matierlizing on the bed, engaging into a fierce battle while Alice tried to keep the powers under control.
"Black...Green...Purple, where is our little Verae now?"
The voice was so cold and seemed to come from nowhere, yet it spoke something else that was ended by Gabriel skidding across the room to Alice, tugging her sleeves to leave the room while the blur became more detailed. The shape shifter, now with wings and alienated traits, followed the wolf and was glad that everyone was mostly at dinner preparing for the sorting. The voices kept growing louder and then soft at one point. People began to matierlized in the halls, reaching out for attention from Alice who ran past them, her hands clenched over her ears which began to grow more into a tip, like the ear of an elf. This had happened before, yet she took a chance of keeping the abnormal eye which no one seemed to notice. Gabriel had then barked getting the attention of Alice along with Merlin who was with Snoop.
Both seemed entranced in the strange creature, once Alice, standing in the corridor with a white wolf tugging at her sleeve with impatience. Snoop had then launched himself at Alice but was thrown back by Gabriel. Merlin began to bark yells, perhaps to find Brige's attention that something was roaming the corridors. Even though Merlin began to scream out curses the shape shifter managed to run into another corridor with Gabriel, soon losing Merlin. She wanted to find Themrus or Clarissa, but the sudden thought of the girl struck her. The girl could enter minds, so would she know about this? It seemed to strike Gabriel too of where to go, his padded feet clicking against the floor next to Alice. Could they find Kaleb or Premidas before anything else did?
No, not really for the invisible feeling reappeared in the corridor and there at the end of the hall stood the cloak that had attacked Gabriel and Alice before. It didn't have the same feeling as the one that had helped Alice find Gabriel. No, this one had a cold aura quickly filling the corridor, waving the uneeded lamp around as if to see the two on the other end of the corridor. Gabriel had then shifted and hid Alice in his cloak behind a curtain, almost leaning against the covered windows. They could see through the curtains, watching the cloak hover through the corridor. Then something had just entered Alice's mind, making her vision foggy while Gabriel's whispered warnings were drowned out by screams that seemed to come from nowhere.
And there was the figure of the strange girl, attempting the walk through the broken wall that protected Alice's mind. Something had just then clawed through her memories, trying to find something that wouldn't be found easily. It was a request of something painfull, something of Gabriel for some odd reason. It had then found the memory, spreading a chilling horror through Alice who found herself staring at herself in what was a mirror, but with the wings and alien looks. The mirror had just then broke before her, sending shards of glass into Alice's eyes while previous memories created a sulky feeling through Alice...And all she hoped for was to find Kaleb and await the sorting of the new girl...
[Gotta go to the movies! YAHOO!]

"Hey, Kan," someone shook her. "Wake up sunshine, we gotta get ready for the sorting. Madame Lunna has let you off the hook; you can leave now." Kanni blinked open her eyes to see Premidas and Kaleb standing by her bedside, grinning. "C'mon! We gotta clean up for the sorting and feast. That new student, I heard, was put in the Salarsh housing area...We have nothing to worry about."
"Tell me that when she tried to break into me again," Kanni growled, remembering the intrusion. That girl had no right to sift through her memories as she wished! Kanni would teach her a lesson; and a damn good one at that. She lifted from the bed, still wearing what she had before when she snuck out. she slipped into her socks and shoes, now able to freely walk without a cane. Premidas still had to use it, and hated the fact. "Man, that is so not fair!" he complained as Kaleb and Kanni strode easily before him.
"So, what are we getting ready for? All we have to do is show up." Kanni said, slowing her pace so the animagus could catch up.
"First we gotta find Alice. Then we'll go see if we can squeeze and information about this girl from Themrus or mom." Kaleb replied, tapping his foot impatiently as Prem shuffled as quickly as he could. "God Prem! You're like a fricken' granny!"
"Oh shut up!" Premidas snarled and then smirked micheiviously. "Hey, Kanni, up for another ride?"
"What?"
Then, in a billow of white mist a lion stood before them. It's red eyes glinted and it nodded to Kanni for her to get on, one injured paw lifted slightly in the air. Kanni grinned but shook her head, "You'll hurt yourself more with any additional weight, Prem. Not a good idea."
Then suddenly Premidas's eyes grew wide. He made a small whimpering sound and then snarled angrily, as if an abrupt mood swing. Kanni watched his strong behavior with caution; this couldn't be good. A horrible nagging feeling settled in the pit of her stomach. Then a strange sensation washed over her like a bucket of icy cold water, making her jolt, her muscles beginning to jolt and cramp. Oh no....it was happening again!
A blackness tugged at the tips of her eyes; no! She couldn't give in! Not now! She hardly noticed Kaleb's warning yells as the white lion started to pad towards her, a hungry look set in its eyes. "Kanni!" Kaleb finally screamed and dashed forth, grabbing her hand and yanking her back just before Premidas pounced on her. The lion turned his attention to Kaleb and snarled, then throwing his head back, he let out a lion roar that echoed through the corridor.
"The damn thing had gone mad!" Kaleb yanked Kanni again, tugging her along as he began to run down the carpeted corridor, heading for the stairs. But a lion was much faster. Within seconds it had caught up with them and blocked off their escape. Kanni was almost numb, oblivious to everything but the blackness threatening to drag her under. What the hell was going on?!
That's what I'd like to know, a little voice, that sounded much like her own, hissed. The lion pounced. Kaleb threw out his hands and the lion froze, just inches away from them, snarling and spitting. He tossed his hands to the side and Premidas went slamming into the wall. Sweat from the concentration and energy it took to hold of the lion beaded down his forehead. Kanni realized that he wouldn't hold that much longer.
Do something! the voice within her screamed out the order. She had to. Had to trust and listen to it. She, then playing bait, began to run off down the hall. The lion shot forward, racing after her. Next thing she knew she felt the hot claws rip through her back, tearing through the skin and clothes. She screamed but, surprisingly, didn't feel much.
Then, as if knowing what was about to happen, she spun around and shot out a hand. The lion fell to the floor from mid-pounce and let out another angry roar. A violet light began to lightly emmit from Kanni's body, a light suprano voice singing lines from what seemed a summer song, trailing on the air. White mist was extracted from the lion's body leaving Premidas in human form. He still looked angry; even angrier his lion form was no more.
He leapt forward with and angry yell, falling on Kanni and the two tumbled to the floor. The impact pushed them together and Kanni felt her lips press against his. Then a horrible pain screeched through her head. She screamed with anguish, pulling her lips from his, trying to push him off her. A white mist began to surround them, seeming to leave Premidas as it floated into her open mouth while she howled with more pain.
Her head throbbed and pounded, her skin burning. Finally she braced her feet against PRemidas's chest and pushed, knocking him from her where her tumbled onto his back, a surprised dazed look in his face. "Make it stop!" Kanni wailed, her hands pressed on her temples as it felt as if her head was swelling and thundering. "Make it stop!" she pleaded again, almost in tears from the excuciating pain. A foreign power was streaming through her; one that was not her own was now suddenly there. Finally the pain recedded and the let her hands drop, her body almost worn out to the point of paralasis. Her cramps and spams finally ebbed away and she felt limp, numb.
Her breaths were in short unsteady gasps, her heart thundering in her chest as if it would burst. Her eyes closed, her brow furrowed upward, her cheeks red and hot. "Kanni..." a far-away voice came from her right, and then a light tap jolted her shoulder. "Kanni...can you hear me?"
"Yes..." she said hoarsly and lightly opened one eye. Kaleb was leaning over her, looking worn out as well. "You alright?" he asked, wiping away from sweat from his forehead.
"No." How could she be? After what happened? "Prem?" she muttered, remaining lying on the floor, "What did I do...?" She almost didn't want to know.
"Kanni...Well, I'm afraid that I think you stole his power...He's lying over there, looking at us, but he looks confused."
"God..." Kanni let her eyes fall closed again and sighed, steadying her breath, slowly regaining strength that seemed to have been brutally drained from her. Then she felt the carpet shift as someone crawled towards them. She knew it was Premidas. He was dragging himself over, obviously in pain. Kaleb got up and grabbed Prem's cane, returning it to him.
"I-I can't shift-..." he began.
"-I'm afraid Kanni's got it. Your power." Kaleb said bluntly.
Kanni squinted her eyes closed at the comment; it was painful. Then she remembered in a pang. "Ulthra! He said, 'when you have stolen the third power, come to me within the hour'. I need to get to him..."
"Don't move. I'll get him-" Kaleb got up but Kanni's hand twisted around his ankle.
"No! Don't go...not alone. Prem, go with him."
"Then who will stay with you?" Kaleb inquired with a hint of irritation in his voice.
Kanni's head rolled to her left and she lightly opened her eyes to see bright blue ones peering intently back at her from the shadows. "She will...now go!"
"Wha-?! Who will?" Premidas began.
"Just go, damnit!" Kanni yelled with rising rage and the two boys hurried to their feet. Premidas braced himself against Kaleb as they hurried away.
"I thought I'd never get the chance..." the girl with brown locks stepped from the shadows.
"You're banned from here until admission. Leave." Kanni ordered with a cold voice.
"I'm afraid I cannot do that...You probably know I am most likely going to be a Salarsh, and you a Tibileek. From what I've heard, many people hate your house...hate the competition." the girl tapped her long fingers against the wall, her clear blue eyes watching Kanni's every move.
"Get out of here," Kanni snapped. "Go back to your room."
"I am Lori...Lori Helken. Perhapse you've heard of me....no? Well, let me fill you in. I am known for my power of being able to break into people's memories...and I seek one. I almost found it, but lost it because of you. You were in her mind...you possessed her, didn't you? To protect her maybe? Or to get me out so you could take over her? Which is it, Remus?"
"Remus? Who the hell is that?!" Kanni snarled.
"Shouldn't you know, milthacti? Guess not...oh well. You will. Soon enough. In the meanwhile, I think I might sift through your memories...who knows? Maybe I'll find something useful." Lori cackled coldly, her blue eyes fixing on Kanni.
Close your eyes! Close them! a voice screamed at her. With no time to waste Kanni clamped her eye-lids shut, squinting them from something that seemed to pry them open. Kanni heard the girl curse angrily. "Damn you! Open up!" Her eyelids fluttered but she denied the force tearing and ripping at her mind, trying, trying so desperately to get through. Suddenly the pain abruptly left and Kanni heard voices...Ulthra's voice!
"What the hell?! Kanni!" the ghost exclaimed.

"Alice! Dammit Alice! Wake up or I'll make you wake up!" The shape shifter's head was disorganized and felt as if it had been thrown into a millions pieces. Her thin body shook softly against the cold marble floor which explained the stiffness in her neck, and the pain grew greater to find out that she still had those horrible wings. Her hair was now a darker violet and green while her skin remained a pale green. She knew that she had only been alseep for an hour or maybe two for the clock above her told her the time, seeing how she already missed the sorting. Garbiel, in his human form, was leaning against the wall with his head back and eye lids closed. Alice couldn't blame him for now there was something that they both needed to take care of. Which was to get the shape shifter back to normal and to find out what triggered this once more. All the shape shifter could connect with this was the lessons from Ms. Taint. It was foolish to think that Ms. Taint had done something for if Clarissa trusted someone, surely Alice could. Then someone had been walking down the same corridor, hissing, "Damn! How am I supposed to find Themrus when that man ventures off all the time?"
Alice's heart had skipped several beats, recognizing that the voice belonged to Kaleb, yet her excitement shrunk back seeing her reflection against the clean marble. She too would have liked to know where Themrus was to fix this all, yet why was Kaleb searching for Themrus? The red curtain was covering the two from Kaleb as Alice watched him painfully cross past them. Yet the glaring that Gabriel made at the back of her head kept her quiet and behaved until the man thought of a plan. And then suddenly the curtain was pryed open by an invisible force which made Gabriel leap up from the walls to tear the curtains close which failed for the same force had then torn the curtains down and over the two, giving the shape shifter the hint that this had been Kaleb's work. And she was completely right to find Kaleb striding to them through the thin matierl that made the curtains. Her heart had, yet again, skipped a few beats to think of what Kaleb would think to find her like this. Just come up with some different reason! Can't you shift over this? The thoughts screamed into her head, pleading for some answer to prevent her from being seen. Then something else came to her, screaming in her head, Wait!? Won't Kaleb understand this all? He is your friend after all, correct? Perhaps more...But he'll understand more than anything and it'll help to have another person explain this to whoever!
Perhaps. It wasn't a guarntee to Alice of what Kaleb would do. Her godfather had then shifted behind her, whispering something that sounded like a spell. The curtains then had lifted themselves off of Alice and Gabriel while the mutated shape shifter squinted her eyes shut, wondering why Kaleb was shooting out questions. Yet now Kaleb had disgarded them, walking furthor down the corridor and taking a turn. It confused her irrabtly until Gabriel hissed, "Vanishing Spell, something very handy to learn in case of these situations occuring at any time. Now, kiddo, it makes me wonder why Kaleb is looking for Themrus at this time? Usually Themrus is lecturing in the library about now."
"You think something else has happened? Maybe to Kanni or Premidas?"
"Most unlikely with the new secruity Clarissa been placing around here since she's trying to find me a job here."
"A teaching job?"
"Maybe kiddo, but's that not the point! Point is that something serious is going on if Kaleb has been sent to fetch Themrus. Maybe Ulthar decided it's time to give Brige the good kick in the ass he was planning for..."
"But we can never be too sure about this."
"Exactly, which is why I'm going to go look around while you stay behind these curtains after I fix them until I come back, okay?" There was no arguing for Gabriel had a grim expression on his face, something that Alice had seen rarely on this high spirited man. He stood up, quickly patting out the creases in his cloak before storming off after fixing the curtains for Alice. It wasn't fair for Alice to be seated behind curtains while every one else was told what was going on before her. She was the Verae, not anyone else besides Gabriel. Why can't I actually leave these curtains? Before it was always Gabriel hiding so why am I the one hiding? The thoughts hissed angrily in her head till another thought hissed back, Well, look at you! Wings and everything else that a girl doesn't normally have in this life time! How are you supposed to explain yourself when another teacher finds you out in the halls looking for trouble rather than help?
"I would've thought about that once I was caught," muttered the shape shifter to herself, twirling a strand of purple hair around her slender pale green finger. There was nothing to do behind a curtain while trying to remain secert. Ah, now there was seeing how Brige was storming down the hallways, his feet slamming while his face was red with fury, sneering to himself, "They won't be ignoring my threats any longer! Once I find this missing Miss Black I'll prove to them about the havec they allowed to even be in this school! And that damned godfather of hers! (Watch it!, thought Alice.) He's surely an interesting piece of work despite the people he killed!"
The shape shifter remained calmed, glaring at the feet of Brige's feet yet another thing had happened. His feet lit aflame and was now waving at his shoes, howling in pain and curses, demanding to know who had done such a thing. His eyes had then rested on the curtains where Alice hid behind, his smeered frown curling into a grin that meant pure evil for her. His feet carried him to the curtains as he rested his hands on the cloth, giving a tight tug. Suddenly Alice doved out from behind the curtains and ran down the corridor, yelling to herself in her head, Can't you go any faster!? He's catching up to you! Why can't you flutter or do something dammit!
Flutter. Now there was a stupid word Alice found hard to believe that she had just said it to herself. But the rest was true. Brige was catching up to her for the marble made her bare feet sore. The shape shifter had then spotted an opened window, deciding to give her best chance and jump out from it, soon colliding into the open trash can which soon closed with a thud. Everything was dark around Alice who was unsure if the trash can would open from the inside. Then again, what was she to do now? Wait for someone to spot her while taking out the trash? Alice only pillowed her head on a bag, soon falling asleep while she hoped for the best instead of the worst.

"Please hurry..." was all the girl could mumble as Ulthra picked her up. Kaleb had been sent off to find Themrus to help Ulthra. Kanni was numb and then again she sensed things all around her. Voices of Penny and Mari when she took their powers, Premidas's lion roar. Her skin was coated with a light sheet of white fur, and two lion ears protruded from her lilac hair. Her green eyes fluttered open and shut but found the light too painful to stare in to. Finally she was set set down on something cold and icy metal clipped around both wrists, locking her down.
It was dark and cool. She opened her eyes and saw she was hanging from two ebony black pillars by chains. Her feet barely touched the white marble floor and a small globe no larger than a golf ball of purple-green light was shining just in front of her. It squirmed and thrust outward, as if something were caught inside and trying to get out. Ulthra swooped down and stood before her. He gave her a stern look but quickly turned as two huge black doors opened and Themrus, Kaleb, and Premidas came in. Behind them were Mari and Penny, both tired and looking pissed.
"Come here," Ulthra gruffly commanded Prem, Mari, and Penny. He stood the three of them on rising golden platforms that made a half circle around Kanni. There they stood and were told to close their eyes. Themrus then cast a spell around the peremiter of the circle to protect himself, Ulthra, and the rest of the school and room.
"Kanni...This is something we must do every time a milthacti steals three powers. Should the dark magician steal five, then he would have enough power to release himself from you by taking all your acquired powers and fleeing. We cannot allow that to happen. Now, what we're going to do is exract the powers from you and give them back to their owners. Understood? Now this will be very painful, I will not lie to you.
"It will feel as though much of your energy will be drained and you may sleep for days after this ordeal. But, now we must hurry!" the ghost said hastily and drew back to Themrus. Themrus's face then became stern with determination and his eyes closed, his hands waving about and around in strange circular gestures.
The globe of violet-green light suddenly shot out, expanding into and through all of the four students. Kanni screamed in the horrible pain that erupted through her entire body. She yanked against the chains and shackles but they held her firmly in place. Her eye lids shut tightly and she felt she would go mad with the pain.
Then she suddenly became a ghost white color. But the ghost sheet slipped from her body like a coating blanket and coiled down to Mari, aligning itself with her limbs and sinking into her skin. Mari wailed and then collapsed to her knees, breathing heavily. For a minute Kanni felt releif and the paint receded. The light withdrew a bit, but Themrus wove his hands once more and the light burst out again.
Another shock of pain tore through her and two long spirit arms shot out and were absorbed by Penny who also fainted when her power was within her again. She gasped with pain, feeling darkness tugg at the edges of her eyes. Her head seared and burned and she was sure she might go crazy. Once again the light withdrew a minute and then came the worst of all. With its final billow of light Kanni couldn't even scream. It seemed as if her whole body was consumed by the ice cold force that was so icy it felt scorching hot.
Her thoughts whirled and tumbled around like a storming sea and her head lolled to the side, blood dripping from the corner of her mouth. Her muscles didn't even draw together in the pain; they remained limp and it seemed as though she were completely numb with excruciating pain. Then she blacked out; the bright light penetrading through her eyelids finally withdrawing for good with a comforting darkness.
She opened her eyes a second but all she saw was black. Maybe the light had temporarily blinded her. She didn't care. The last thing she felt was the icy shackled releasing her wrists as she was slowly lowered down to a cold floor. After that all was black and silent...

[Revenge, revenge! XD]
The animagus ran swiftly through the corridors in the body of the fairly white kanine, similar to his own godchild's. And now she had simply vanished from where he had told her to stay until he came back seeing how couldn't simply walk her through the corridors. There was the fairly large pair of wings attached to her back and the pale green skin that everyone would notice once they laid eyes on Alice. Gabriel had known better than to leave Alice alone and with directions, it was almost a habit of hers to bounce out of line. Somehow it wasn't that she was alone and didn't listen to him, it was the thought of Brige finding Alice in her current state that had been bothering Gabriel once returning to the curtains to find nothing. The man could do great things once he got his hands on something valuble and Brige's full attention was to bring harm to Garbiel and Alice. Even the story why wasn't much of a secert seeing how Brige once had great respect for Clarissa until she broke a few rules that she herself had build to allow Gabriel to remain hidden in the castle.
His four paws hit the marble floor with a soft click! and then a clack!, something that Gabriel himself found quite hard to refrain from landing harder on the floor to make the same sound. He had just then took another turn to find himself staring down a full corridor of students, bending his ears back while his tail cowered to the ground. There was absolutely no way he'd walk through that crowd and have his tail or ears pulled again by the giggling crowd of girls like last time. Then again this was all for Alice so Gabriel faced the discision of taking a slight detour through the crowd. Gabriel sat highly on the ground, all four legs standing proudly while his long mouth opened into a snarl and barked madly, hoping to get the same reaction from the students nearest that cowered away from the students in the back. The animagus had just then ran through the crowd, barking as he still snarled to his left, then his right to scare back students. It wasn't rude, but nessecary.
Several paintings snickered from above where Gabriel sat, still a kanine, against the wall trying to think of where Alice would have gone or where Brige currently was. The figures painted on the canvas pointed at him, calling him 'Snuffles' while others simply pretending to wave a bone at Gabriel who hadn't liked the jokes at all. They had thought of him lower now, seeing how he would now be working here at the school rather than hiding in the shadows. This life seemed rather boring to him and was partly glad that Alice had caused some trouble for him to clean up. He had made a request to Clarissa to even find him a job that wasn't standing infront of a class all day and lecturing people over something stupid such as 'Vanishing Potion' or anything of the sort. Gabriel seemed to rather be hunted than to be innocent, something that most paintings had heard from Clarissa in her office.
Ah, the old fool is finally out and about. He was, Brige that is, was now striding through the corridors with a rather strange grin on his face. Perhaps he had found something out, something important that would end his hunger to do something destructive. The animagus still hadn't been sighted by Brige and crept on after him, carefull not to catch attention of any students who were fond of pets. It had been long since Brige stopped in the corridor, seeming confused of where he was going and then took another left, almost hestitant. Brige had then stopped once more, looking back at the other turn the corridor made. Where the hell are you actually going in the first place?, yelled Gabriel to himself. His black eyes were focoused on the feet of Brige, awaiting them to continue their walk. This was too boring, almost killing Gabriel on the inside who longed to find out where Brige was going.
There was the strange occurance of Brige wondering outside, looking slightly more pale in the sun than inside the castle. Gabriel himself had never seen the man wander off outside, something that made the animagus more keener in finding out where Brige was going. Students had also seemed to notice the rare occurance of Brige strolling outside, some murmoring while others where threatened by Brige with detentions. The teacher had then wandered off behind the school to a set of dumpsters, kicking aside bags. He had then left looking slightly disappointed while Gabriel stayed behind a bag thinking to himself, Why would Brige even come out to the dumpsters? Was he looking for something maybe? Most unlikely...
The aura of another aura that felt related to him swam to the air to reach his animal sixth sense, almost pleading for attention while it continued to grasp at the sense. Strangest thing was that this aura came from the large dumpster that had been shut, looking almost impacted from strong winds or just rough playing from fights. Whether it had been or not, Gabriel didn't give it much time to think about and instead shifted to human, patting out the creases in his new cloaks and jeans, then the white tee that had an arrow pointing down. He hadn't been given much clothing from Clarissa who promised to order more for Gabriel, seeing how she had a younger brother who wasn't much older than Gabriel. The animagus then ingored the dirt stain on the leg of his jeans, lifting up the roof of the dumpster to find a mutated Alice staring back at him, grinning dumbly while removing a banana peel from her wings in disgust.
"Why the hell are you in a dumpster? At least have some pride and hide somewhere with intelligence, not just anywhere, kiddo," chuckled Gabriel softly, shooting glances to students behind him while throwing his own cloak over Alice, quickly tightening the string that held his long black hair together as his godchild covered up. "What gave you the idea to not hide behind those curtains I told you to?"
"It felt stupid to be hiding somewhere while Brige kept on muttering rude things about me. Stupid bloke, who does he even think he is? Did you even find out why Kaleb went looking for Themrus while you were out and about?" asked Alice, stepping out of the dumpster still very well covered to find tissue paper attached to the bottom of her shoes. "Well?"
"It really doesn't matter, we need to get you fixed first before anything..." The shape shifter had known better than to argue with her godfather for once he gave his final word it was the final except for recieving instructions from him. Then it was everyone for themselves. Most students hadn't even thought of why Gabriel who take a cloaked piece of 'stick' inside the school with him where he changed the story to a dead 'Man-Eating Plant' that he had found infront of the school. To anyone, it didn't really matter for no one paid attention to it all. It had given Alice a knew outlook of most students just didn't care or were slow on the mind.
"This is it or it should be..." Gabriel whispered, kicking open a door which revealed the darkest light and the coldest breeze Alice had ever experienced, feeling herself being put down on a moist warm chair while several lights could be heard turned on. The animagus had lifted the cloak from Alice's head, letting her keep it as he said to someone else in the room, "Ah, Abigalle. So you really made it. I thought Themrus wasn't expecting you last week."
"Well, you see some things change rapidly such as the heat in this room. Turn off that damned heater before I blast your head off! I most take on the climate change rather slowly than most people and you should've known that," hissed a femine voice behind the shape shifter. "Now, now. What have you brought me this time?"
"Alice, my godchild." The voice from Gabriel was suddenly protective as the chair was turned around for the shape shifter to face a woman, a very attractive woman whose face was pale, her elegant cheeks outlined with her pitch black hair while a thick bush of her bangs was pink, a very bright and neon pink. Dark eyeliner outlined her eyes while she wore a thick amount of purple lip stick, something that Alice found rather eye catching. The woman, Abigalle, then whispered back with a grin, "Rather ugly thing, isn't she?"
"That's not what she looked like before this morning so watch it Abigalle," growled the animagus, seating next to Alice. "Can't you do anything before Brige finds out about this damned mess? If not my ass is roast."
"I've saved your and Themrus's asses plenty of times so you hush. It'll be simple but'll we need a few things from Brige's office along with Ulthar's methods." Abigalle had crossed her legs, her black cloaks swaying in the cold breeze that swept through the room. Her finger nails had been painting a deep blue, the same color of her eyes. This was Themrus's sister then. This was the teacher that was to teach Alice how to protect herself from intruders.

In the office at the end of the corridor where not too many students had wandered was the office of Clarissa Agretto who stood over her cauldron, throwing in books that meant nothing to her and papers that had sketches of old plans to hide Gabriel. Nothing was needed anymore, nothing at all. She had expected a very chaos year with a Verae, a killer, and a recarnation of an old wizard which was perhaps her own mistake. A mistake that Clarissa would never regret in her life for it had taught her new things and she loved to have the two girls in her school. Kaleb, her son, had now even seemed more happier than before. Perhaps it would be foolish to no think that Alice and Kaleb were close friends, just as Premidas and Kanni were. Yet now the new student's father had exited, leaving Clarissa's feelings low as ever with an urge to kill.
"I'll show that man who can't be principle! I do my job very well mind him! Isn't that correct, Dr. Vagne?" Clarissa was now speaking to a portrait who was leaning against the canvas, yawning as he answered, "Of course Clarissa, of course you do your job very well or else this school would be in ruins."The woman nodded her head, throwing more books into the cauldron as a could of smoke engolfed Clarissa's face. She had just then felt another memory drift of to her, another thought that had seemed very informing at the moment...

(yay! Rach lives! lol)
"Kan?" a voice rasped in the young girl's ear. She slowly turned her head and tried open her eyes; nothing. She tried to lift her eyelids once more but still something white held them down. A hand flew to her face to find a white cloth bandage had been wrapped around her head and covered her eyes. "Sh..." the voice whispered. "Ulthra said the light blinded you, that's all. You'll get your vision back in a few days. It's only temporary."
"Who are you?" Kanni finally asked, feeling the strains in her muscles begin to ache. "Who are you?" Kanni asked again when there was silence.
"Why, it's me. Can't you tell?" the voice asked and Kanni shook her head. "It's me, Prem!" the voice said again. It sounded familiar enough but she couldn't pin-point it right now. Then the person sighed. "Yes...Ulthra also mentioned that you would have a temporary memory loss that should be back by tonight."
"Ulthra? Where am I?" Kanni demanded and tried to pull the bandage off her eyes. Two warm hands wrapped with cloth around the knuckles grabbed her, pulling them away from the cloth. Kanni wrenched her hands away. "Where am I? Where's mom?" she asked again, getting annoyed. Then she felt an icy coldness sweep through her and another, deeper voice rumbled, "I told you not to mess with her until I came back, Mr. Anthen."
"Sorry."
"Yes, I'm sure you are. Now step away; I have a memory to restore." the voice rumbled.
"What the hell--?!" Kanni began but suddenly felt a flood of inmages, feelings, and incidents rush through her. Suddenly she could remember who she was...where she was....and what had happened just minutes before. "How is that, Miss Merrane?"
"Good, Ulthra." she answered with a smile. Yes. Now she knew them all again. She was herself again. "Prem? You still there?"
"Yea." he replied. "You know me now?"
"Yes." she sighed and rubbed her temples. Her head throbbed slightly and she didn't dar venture back to the pain she had felt maybe only hours ago.
"Oh, just so you know, that new girl is a Salarsh." Premidas said hastily. "You know? Lara something...She was sorted into the Salarsh house. It's okay; she won't be bothering us much now. We're pretty safe. Salarsh and Tibileek have always been rivals along with all other houses."
"Lori Helken? The blue-eyes?" Kanni's voice became icy at the thought of her. What had that girl said to her? What had she called her? "Remus"? Who the hell was Remus? She stifled a groan of pain that seared through her head a minute and then ebbed away. "Ugh...That was enough pain to last me nine life-times..." she muttered.
"Yes. And I'm afraid this isn't the last time you will have to go through the trial, Miss Merrane. This "exraction" will be conducted every time you steal three powers." Ulthra mumbled. "Well, then, I'll be on my way. After all, with you dealt with Themrus and I must continue tending to the "Birge Problem"."
"See ya Kanni. Hope you feel better," Themrus said from a distance and Kanni jolted. She didn't even know she was there. Her hands groped towards her night desk and she assumed correctly; she was in the hospital wing again. "What are you looking for?" Premidas hastily asked before she knocked something over.
"Can I get some water? My throat is so dry," Kanni withdrew her hands until a glass was set in them. She tilted the cup to her lips and cherished the icy cold liquid washing down her parched and hot throat. She kept it in her palms and leaned her head back onto the pillow, being careful not to hit anything. "So how long am I gonna be blind?"
"Two or three days tops. At least you'll get off of homework until then."
"But I still have to go to class?" she asked hopefully, even though she knew the answer.
"Yea, you do. They'll give you an escort; maybe Alice, Kaleb, or me to help lead you to your classes. You can still listen to the lecture, can't you? And if there's book work they can read it to you, and have someone copy down notes for you."
"Just make my day, Prem," Kanni growled and a silence followed. Kanni then touched her head and was releived to feel that she had her normal ears back and that her skin was no longer fur-covered. She yawned. "What time is it?"
"It's about nine at night. We'll be heading back to bed soon."
"Prem, I need you to do me a favor. I've been neglecting Rothen a while; only quickly feeding him each morning. Will you take him into your room with the food so he can have someone around him until things cool down? Lately I've been stuck in bed for quite a while."
"Sure. What's your lock code?"
"I can't tell you that." she nearly laughed, almost picturing his confused face.
"Well, how am I supposed to feed him and get him out then?"
"You'll take me up there to open it for you. C'mon, I could use a little walk to stretch out my stiff legs and see if my full memory is back."
Premidas sighed. "I think Alice is a bad influence on you."

"You surely must be joking..." rasped the shape shifter, looking down at the basin of water that loomed under her with contents that seemed to be either liquid or gas looming out from it's edges and sides. The girl had been leaning over it for what seemed to be hours, her purple hair always drifting into it and then to be pulled back out to find that the contents had seemed to clean the dirt from it unlike normal water. Alice didn't trust herself to touch what was in the basin, slightly nervous that Abigalle was looking over the basin herself at Alice, her eyes holding a gleam that Gabriel seemed to take notice of once pouring several more herbs into the basin, watching it spit out a cloud of silver smoke with a blue vapor following after it. This was an idea of Abigalle's, an idea that made the shape shifter wonder if she could trust this woman. The room still had the cold aroma filling in it and the darkness still loomed around them except for a candle that shone brightly beside Gabriel who sat in an arm chair, his legs slightly crossed with his head leaning against his arm.
This woman wanted Alice to submerge herself into a basin not even a fourth of her size. It seemed completely stupid when the shape shifter slid her hand in the contents to find that the basin stood as high as a pen. Surely Clarissa never meant to allow such a mental case into the school, yet Themrus was mostly right. The godfather of Alice seemed not to worry about Abigalle's plan, allowing the woman to continue dropping more herbs into the basin along with the rest of the contents. Finally the strange liquid shifted into a very soothing lilac with a new warmth filling the room. It gave off enough light to see that Abigalle was in much clothing except for jeans and a thin tee. There was absolutely no way that Alice would be submerge into the basin. Then again, how?
"I am not. Gabriel, when I told you to find someone to occupy I didn't say pick an idiot..." murmed Abigalle, watching the dismissing look on Gabriel's face and then gave the man a seductive smile, whispering, "You still remember us, don't you-"
"Abigalle! When I meant fix this, I meant now, not in a century!" hissed Gabriel, slightly rising from his chair and then patted Alice on the shoulder with comfort. "You're probally wondering how this is going to work, am I correct? Well, Abigalle will be explaining that to you since she's the expert here who is freezing like an ice cube."
"You stay in the North Pole for several months and come back, we'll see who will be admiring who once you come back. It's a nice treat really...ice cones, glacier slides, and-Oh! Don't give me that look Gabriel! Allow me to enjoy myself while fixing this godchild of yours!" sneered Abigalle, now throwing in several colored pebbles into the stone basin. "Now it's finally brewed enough. Alright Alice, all you have to do is concentrate on the basin and keep on concentrating until you're submerged. After that you should be cleaned!"
"Just stare at this?" asked Alice, beginning to concentrate on the basin. She had already noticed that there was ruins scratched into it's surface with mess. Alice knew that if she had paid more attention in Ulthar's class she might be able to recognize these yet she dismissed them, counting the waves of contents that poored out from the basin. Slowly sound began to fail from her. It began to grow silent and just when Abigalle said, "...see Gabriel? It's working perfectly!" air was knocked out from her lungs as water filled her mouth. Her hands had tried to slip out from the water, feeling herself breath it in and spit it back out. There was water all around her, filling her lungs and ears. Light shone through the water from above, something that Alice had tried to reach for before falling deeper into the water.
"Dammit! Are you trying to kill her!? Alice! Alice!!" It was as if a bubble had just popped loudly, the water leaving from Alice. Two hands were now shaking her wildly. Alice then hurled forward the water spilling from her mouth as she coughed, her frame of her body shaking wildly. Yet Alice didn't take account of the wings missing, the red hair shining brillantly in the water while her skin was the normal tint of peach. Abigalle seemed slightly surprised with herself, staring back at the basin while she rubbed her red chin thoughtfully. Gabriel hadn't took account of Alice's ressamblence of human either, already carrying her out of the door while yelling, "Next time we're finding Clarissa!"

(yay! ur back! ^^)
Kanni's hand was gripped tightly around Prem's shoulder as she stumbled through the halls after him. She was wearing light blue jeans that frayed at the bottom with a plain coral sleeveless shirt. Her feet were bare and the marble felt icy to her skin, she was glad she was on the carpet now again. They stepped into the elevator and Kanni could hear the shuffles of students next to her, almost able to see that they were shooting her glances of interest. "Ah! Hey, Kanni. Haven't seen you in a while," Brad's voice said from next to her as he clapped her shoulder. "Hey, what happened? You blind now?"
"Only temporarily, so back off," Premidas growled.
"Aw, come on. I'm only concerned about a friend," Brad cooed snidely.
"Yeah, right," Premidas shot back and jerked forward, leading Kanni from the elevator as it held at their stop. She stumbled out and took a turn, the rest of the way to her room almost memorized. Finally Premidas stopped and grabbed her hands, placing them around the cold metal lock. She fingered the soft buttons and could almost see each one of them. She quickly typed in the code and the lock sprang open. She pushed open the door and felt a light breeze coming from within.
"Holy shit!" Premidas breathed and pushed her slightly back.
"What?"
"Kan, how big did you say that snake was going to get?"
"Only half an arm length, why?" Kanni felt her muscles tense as she heard a low hiss from the back of the room.
"It's gotten a bloody fifteen feet long! At least!" Premidas wailed and spun around, grabbing Kanni's arms and trying to tug her away. She wrenched her arm free and held her ground, her hands groping forward for the monster.
"Rothen?" she asked softly. "Rothen, where are you?" A low hiss answered from the back of her room. Kanni's gaze shot towards the noise. A sudden vision flashed behind her eyes, blitzing through her mind. It was a picture of Rothen, a huge dark-green, almost black, snake huddled by a ripped open fridge doors. Little meat peices lay scattered near him and he was gorging them down like a starving wolf. Her head let out a sear of pain, but left as soon as it had come. "Rothen?" Kanni asked again, staggering a step forward into her room, even though her instincts were pleading--screaming--for her to turn around and run.
Another low his of content came from her right where the fridge had lain. "Rothen?"
"Kannnnniiii?" a voice hissed back in some surprise. A sudden coldness brushed her fingers and she flinched. Clamping them around something strong she realized it was Rothen's neck. His scales neatly overlapped each other, all rough and icy. "What the hell happened?" she finally managed after fingering her snake's head to make sure he was facing her.
A sudden pain eruppted in her right arm as she felt two long fangs slide through. She screamed in mostly surprise and tried to pull away, but the grip was too tight. It suddenly pulled down, wrenching her off balance as she tumbled to the floor below. Then she felt the same icy coldness begin to wrap around her body and begin to tighten, making her gasp in pain, the air coming harder and harder to suck in. What was going on?! Rothen!
